Police seek suspects in commercial burglaries in Brighton

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects wanted for questioning in connection to a commercial burglary pattern in Brighton Beach.

On Sunday, September 18 at around 7 p.m., the unknown perps broke into a women’s clothing shop at 241 Brighton Beach Avenue, within the confines of the 60th Precinct, by breaking the security gate, and removed six mink coats and a cash register containing around $300 before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.

Then on Tuesday, September 27, at around 3:30 a.m., the same individuals are believed by cops to have cut the lock on a door before entering a grocery store at 117 Brighton Beach Avenue, but did not steal any property.

Again on Wednesday, October 5, at approximately 2:07 a.m., a group believed to be the same perps broke into a T-Mobile store at 702 Brighton Beach Avenue. They entered the premises through the roof using a rope, and fled the scene back up the rope through the roof without taking any property.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES,) then entering TIP577.
