Two bicycles were stolen from a home near East Fourth Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in Windsor Terrace sometime between Wednesday, October 12 at 12 p.m. and the following day at around 9 a.m. The unknown crooks broke in through the property’s fence, opened the shed in the backyard and got away with the two rides, totaling nearly $2,000.
No arrests have been made.
Two days earlier, on Monday, October 10, a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from its parking spot at Fifth Avenue and 55th Street in Sunset Park at around 11 p.m. When the owner, a 23-year-old man, checked the bike the following morning at around 11 a.m., he discovered it missing. The motorcycle is worth around $3,850.
Both crimes were committed in the 72nd Precinct.
