It was a cause for celebration on Thursday, October 27 as the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn — founded in 1966 by the Honorable Frank J. Pino, the former presiding justice of the Appellate Term of the Supreme Court — celebrated its golden 50th anniversary.
Celebrating “50 years of achievement within the legal profession,” the group marked the milestone with a formal gala, held at the Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Parkway.
Among those in attendance were association members, local elected officials, family, friends and more.
The group, which was formed as a means for “Italo-American” lawyers to discuss views and experiences as well as help to make advancements within the field, now boasts an impressive 350 members.
