A game of basketball at Bensonhurst Park quickly turned dangerous when an unidentified man approached two teens and threatened them for their cellphones, according to cops.
One victim, 17 years old, told police that he and his friend were in the middle of a game on Friday, November 4 at around 7:50 p.m. when the man – described only as black – approached them at the court near Cropsey and 21st Avenues and “threatened physical harm” if they didn’t hand over their cellphones.
The teens complied and the man ran off with the phones.
