Cops say a 26-year-old woman might have been robbed while aboard the S53 bus on Sunday, December 4, had it not been for a Good Samaritan riding alongside her.
According to police, the woman was riding the bus — which was nearing the southeast corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway on 92nd Street — at about 1:15 p.m. when a perp, described by police as a black man in his mid 30’s, screamed at her to shut up.
The man — further described as being dressed in all black, standing just over six feet tall and weighing close to 200 pounds — then allegedly pushed her against the wall of the bus while grabbing her iPhone and headphones from her hands.
An unknown man also riding the bus then briefly struggled with the perp and was able to get back the victim’s property.
The crook then fled southbound towards 93rd Street on Fort Hamilton Parkway on foot.
No arrests have been made.
