Three thirsty teens assault Bensonhurst liquor store cashier for Fireball

Three Brooklyn teens – two 16-year-old twin girls and one 14-year-old boy – robbed a Bensonhurst liquor store of a bottle of Fireball and assaulted the cashier, cops say.

According to police, the trio walked into the New Utrecht Avenue store, located near 71st Street, at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 9 and began punching the cashier in the face. One of the teens proceeded to remove the bottle of cinnamon whiskey from a shelf and all three fled the store.

After conducting a search of the area, cops found and arrested the 14-year-old boy and one of the 16-year-old girls. The 16-year-old’s twin sister was brought into the precinct later, at around 9:21 p.m., and was positively identified by the store employee – who suffered trauma to his right eye – as the third assailant.
