A 52-year-old man has died following a car accident in Gravesend early this morning.
According to cops, Xin Lin Zheng was driving a 2004 Toyota Mini-Van in reverse in front of 1748 West Seventh Street Street while “partially outside the vehicle” when he struck a tree at around 9:47 a.m.
When police arrived, the man was unconscious, unresponsive, and had suffered head trauma. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is being conducted by NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad.
No additional wreckage to vehicles or injuries were reported.
