Cops say a 34-year-old man was arrested after attempting to snatch a purse belonging to a 73-year-old woman last week.
According to police, on Wednesday, January 18 at around 4:05 p.m., the woman was standing near the corner of 76th Street and Fourth Avenue waiting for a taxi when the man walked in front of her and attempted to grab her pocketbook. He was unsuccessful in doing so.
Another woman witnessed the incident, and police arrested a suspect.
