Watch: Police seek duo for attacking man, attempting to steal sneakers in Sunset

Cops are searching for two suspects involved in an attempted robbery in Sunset Park on Friday, May 5, at around 5 a.m.

According to police, it was then that a 21-year-old man went in the basement of a home near Sixth Avenue and 57th Street, in the 72nd Precinct, to sell sneakers to the two male perps. One of them took out a knife while other punched the man in the face. The crooks then fled on foot while the victim was removed to a local hospital for treatment.

Cops describe one of the suspect as a Hispanic man with a medium complexion, 5’8”, and weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray jogging jacket.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a dark complexion.
