Duo robs 17th Avenue deli at gunpoint, makes off with $5k, cigarettes

Cops say two men entered a grocery store on the corner of 17th Avenue and 86th Street with a gun in hand and stole over $5,000 on Thursday, May 25.

Reports claim that at around 4:42 a.m., the victim, a 31-year-old male employee of the store, was held at gunpoint by two black men who demanded he give them all the money. The victim gave them approximately $5,000 and the perps stole cigarettes before fleeing eastbound on 86th Street.

No arrests have been made.
