Family launches search party seeking elderly Bath Beach woman missing three days

After three days with no leads as to where missing 88-year-old Mary Joyce-Bonsignore could be, family members will be launching a search party on July 20 at 5 p.m. outside the missing woman’s Bath Beach home, according to family members.

Joyce-Bonsignore, who is reported by family to suffer from Alzheimer’s, was last seen on Monday, July 17 at approximately 8:30 a.m. in front of her residence on 19th Avenue between Bath Avenue and Cropsey Avenue, according to police.

Joyce-Bonsignore is described by authorities as a white woman standing approximately 5’8″ and weighing close to 140 pounds with blue eyes and white hair. Family member say she was last seen wearing a straw hat, blue pants, a red and white shirt, brown slippers and a silver identification bracelet.

Anyone with information about the missing woman’s whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
