Mid-morning fire injures one in Dyker

A morning blaze broke out on the first floor of a three-story home in Dyker Heights on Thursday, July 27, injuring one person.

The one-alarm fire began around 10:15 a.m. at 862 67th Street, according to the Fire Department. Twelve units and 60 firefighters responded to the scene, putting the fire under control by 10:50 a.m.

An unidentified occupant of the home was injured, but refused medical attention, according to the FDNY.
