Police search for two suspects wanted for nearly seven burglaries

Police are searching for two suspects they believe to be involved in a series of burglaries and attempted burglaries that have occurred in various portions of southwest Brooklyn

The two have been linked to seven different incidents within the confines of the 66th, 68th and 72nd Precincts.

According to cops, on Tuesday, May 30 at around 4:30 a.m., one of the suspects broke into Hot Space, 774 51st Street, by breaking open the basement door, but fled without stealing anything.

On Monday, June 3 at around 4:25 a.m., cops say the same individual broke into DCPLZZ Seafood, 770 59th Street, by breaking the security gate, lifting it up, and walking through the unlocked door. The crook stole around $2,000 in cash from the register as well as beer.

On Thursday, June 8, at around 2:40 a.m., the same suspect tried to enter Wellcare Adult Day Care Inc., 5515 Seventh Avenue, according to the police, by forcing the front door with a hard object. A female suspect acted as a lookout during the incident. Neither was able to break through and no property was stolen.

On Thursday, June 8, also at around 2:40 a.m., cops say the duo tried unsuccessfully to break into Happy Family Grocery Inc. 5402 B Seventh Avenue, by breaking the electronic gate and front door with an unknown object. The female suspect acted as a lookout during the incident.

Then, on Sunday, June 11 at around 3:58 a.m., according to police, the male suspect broke into Hotpot, 811 53rd Street, by breaking the front gate, and stole $8,000 from the cash register. The woman acted as a lookout during this incident.

In addition, cops say that on Tuesday, June 20 at around 5 a.m., the man broke into Mr. Q’s, 5302A Eighth Avenue, by breaking the kitchen door.  The man then stole $2,900 in cash from register, as well as beer and an iPad mini.

Cops also recently claimed on Thursday, June 15 at around 5:45 a.m., cops believe the suspect broke into Shogun Sushi, 6201 11th Avenue, through the rear kitchen door. Once inside, the man stole around $360 in cash from the cash register. The man then left the location through the rear door.

One of the suspects is described as a dark skinned man, seen wearing red sneakers and a hoodie.

The second is a female who was seen with a duffel bag over her shoulders and her hair in bun.
