A 25-year-old man was busted by police for stealing around $170,000 worth of jewelry from a 68-year-old woman on Thursday, June 15 inside a home on 86th Street between Colonial Road and Ridge Boulevard. According to police reports, at around noon, the crook broke into the home, opened a safe and took the costly baubles.
He was later arrested on burglary charges.
