Man wanted for making fraudulent credit card charges in 72nd Precinct

Authorities are looking to identify a man in connection to a grand larceny whose victim lives in Brooklyn’s 72nd Precinct.

According to reports, on Monday, June 26 at around 10 a.m., the victim, a 49-year-old man, discovered that the online purchase of a laptop worth around $1,300 had been charged to his credit card by someone else. The victim claimed he never lost the credit card which was used illegally to make the purchase.

The perp is described as a white man, approximately 20-30 years old. He was wearing a blue striped dress shirt, black pants and sneakers, and carrying a backpack when he picked up the laptop, as seen in the surveillance photo.

The 72nd Precinct includes Sunset Park, Red Hook, South Park Slope and Greenwood Heights.
