Cops seek perp who attacked man in his own home and stole $1

Authorities are looking to identify a man in connection with the robbery of a 58-year-old man in the Gravesend area.

According to reports, on Wednesday, July 12 at around 10:40 p.m. inside an apartment building at Avenue V and 27th Avenue, the alleged crook broke into the victim’s home through his front door, which was unlocked. Once inside, the perp knocked the man to the floor, went through his pockets and stole $1 and a New York State Benefits Card.  He then fled the apartment in an unknown direction.

The perp is described as a black man, 6’0” and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing white baseball cap, a gray sweater, blue jean shorts and black sneakers.
