Cops seek suspect wanted in connection to burglary spree in Windsor Terrace and Kensington

Authorities are seeking 24-year-old Edwing Perez-Guzman, who is wanted in connection with 11 break-ins within the confines of the 66th and 72nd Precincts.

According to reports, on Monday, August 7 at approximately 2 p.m., the suspect entered a restaurant located at Seventh Avenue and 56th Street, stole a blender and fled.

Then, on Sunday, October 15 at around 6 p.m., the alleged perp broke into a pharmacy at East Fifth Street and Cortelyou Road by breaking the lock, stole around $150 and fled the scene.

On Wednesday, October 18 at around 2:10 a.m., the suspect broke into a restaurant near Fort Hamilton Parkway and East Fourth Street using a crowbar to break the front door and stole several gift certificates, $104 and a bottle of wine.

On Thursday, October 19 at around 10:26 p.m., the suspect broke into the office of a not-for-profit organization near Ocean Parkway and East Fifth Street, and stole a laptop and other electronics.

Also on Thursday, October 19, at around 10:30 p.m., the suspect broke into an adult care center, also near Ocean Parkway and East Fifth Street, but didn’t steal any items.

Then on Saturday, October 21 at around 5:15 p.m., the suspect broke into a hair care center near Fort Hamilton Parkway and East Fourth Street using a crowbar on the front door. He didn’t steal any items before he fled.

Also, on Saturday, October 21 at around 7 p.m., the alleged perp broke the front door of a coffee shop, also near Fort Hamilton Parkway and East Fourth Street, and stole $150, a tablet and a laptop before fleeing.

On Sunday, October 22, at around 2:40 a.m., the suspect broke in a yoga studio near East Fourth Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway through the window and stole around $200, a tool kit, a microphone and sparkling apple juice.

Then on Monday, October 30 at around 3:30 a.m., the alleged burglar broke inside a deli near East Third Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, but didn’t steal any items prior to fleeing the scene.

Later that day, at around 5:45 a.m., the suspect broke into a bar near Prospect Avenue and Reeve Place through the side window and stole around $900 from the register.

On Thursday, November 2 at around 7 p.m., the alleged crook entered a restaurant near Prospect Avenue and Reeve Place through the front door, stole $200 and fled the scene.
