Cops seek suspect wanted in connection with grand larceny incident at Sunset subway station

Authorities are seeking a man who is wanted in connection with a grand larceny incident that occurred within the confines of the 68th Precinct.

Police say that on Thursday, December 21 at around 5:15 p.m., a 26-year-old woman had her wallet stolen inside the Eighth Avenue and 62nd Street subway station after she was bumped into by an unknown perp. Later, she discovered that her wallet, which contained credit cards, was missing.

A check of her credit card activity later revealed the purchase of six monthly Metrocards from a vending machine at the Fort Hamilton subway station. The Metrocard was used by the crook on Friday, December 22 at the Nostrand Aveue subway station.
