Having arrested one suspect in a drive-by shooting incident that took place last year, cops are still looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the other man wanted in connection to the crime, which occurred in Borough Park on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
The NYPD, which sent out a media alert to that end on Tuesday, February 6, says that at around 6:45 p.m., the two victims — a 22-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man — were shot at as they left their home at 18th Avenue and 53rd Street by two men who drove by them in a gray minivan and fired before fleeing. The victims were not injured in the incident.
On Saturday, May 10, 27-year-old Gravesend resident Philip Paternostro was arrested and charged with attempted assault and criminal possession of a firearm in connection with the incident.
The second suspect, who hasn’t been arrested, is described as a white male in his late 20s. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap.
