The sound of gunshots rattled a Bay Ridge bar in the early morning hours of Monday, February 26.
Authorities say the staff at No Quarter Tavern, 8015 Fifth Avenue, reported hearing gunfire at around 3:15 a.m. While no one appeared to have been hit, police uncovered five shell casings at the scene. An evidence search was conducted as well as a citywide hospital search for any possible victims. None so far have been found.
According to a local police source, three people had been denied entry to the watering hole before the shots rang out. A white SUV that could be connected to the shooting is reported to have fled northbound on Fifth Avenue.
The incident is still under investigation.
