VIDEO: Cops seek men wanted in connection to cellphone store robbery

Cops are looking for two men who allegedly stole five cellphones and one tablet and threatened an employee’s life at a T-Mobile store near West 13th Street and 86th Street in Gravesend.

The men walked up to one of the cellphone display cases at around 4:25 p.m. and began removing phones after cutting off the security cables that attached them to the case. When a T-Mobile employee confronted them, one of the men threatened the employee with a sharp object and told him that he would kill him.

The employee retreated to a back room and called 911. The two men fled down 86th Street, entering a silver sport utility vehicle and speeding off northbound toward Avenue T.

The first man is black, 20 to 25 years old and was last seen wearing a gray knit cap, a black hooded sweater and a dark-colored jacket and pants. The second man is black, 20 to 25 years old and was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater, a dark-colored jacket, gray sweatpants and blue sneakers.
