Cops bust man for attempting to burglarize Bay Ridge department store

A man was arrested by cops after attempting to steal merchandise from a Bay Ridge department store.

According to authorities, at around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 51-year-old Ralph Nimmons allegedly went inside the store near Fifth Avenue and 86th Street and attempted to remove merchandise without paying for it.

Following a pursuit, cops caught the alleged crook nearby.

Nimmons was charged with possession of burglar tools, petit larceny and misapplication of property.
