Officers from Transit District 34 and the 72nd Precinct have arrested a man inside a Sunset Park train station and charged him with criminal possession of a firearm and menacing.
According to authorities, on Sunday, April 29 at around 5:12 a.m., 36-year-old Bath Beach resident Omar Lopez allegedly was involved in a dispute while aboard the N train headed to the 59th Street subway station. Officers arrived at the station and while canvassing the train, took the suspect, who had a .32 caliber firearm, into custody.
There was no report of any injuries or firearm discharge relating to this incident.
