A Bath Beach resident was arrested on charges of forcible touching and sexual abuse after allegedly molesting a 15-year-old girl on a northbound D train.
According to authorities, on Friday April 27, at around 3 p.m., 42-year-old Jorge Ruiz was inside of a northbound “D” train as it approached the Bay 50th Street station, when he allegedly approached the teenage victim, touched her inner thigh and attempted to kiss her. When the girl shoved the suspect away, he fell to the floor of the train. The victim then moved to a different train car and the man remained in the same car.
Police announced Ruiz’s arrest on Saturday, May 5.
