Cops Find Woman Injured, Unresponsive on Street in Gravesend

Police found a woman lying in the road in Gravesend Saturday evening.

According to authorities, on Sat., Jan. 5 at around 6:20 p.m., police found the 45-year-old lying on the side of the road unresponsive at the northeast corner of Kings Highway and West Second Street. EMS responded and removed her to Maimonides for treatment.

According to the NYPD, the woman informed told responding officers that she didn’t know what had happened to her.

A witness on the scene claims he heard cops say it was a hit and run; however, authorities haven’t confirmed it.

The investigation is ongoing.
