Cops release additional photos of suspected would-be Bensonhurst bank robber

The NYPD has released additional photos of a man, they say, attempted to rob an 18th Avenue bank on Thursday, July 2 within the confines of the 62nd Precinct.

According to cops, the suspect – described as a black man in his early 40’s – entered a Chase bank near 65th Street and 18th Avenue around 9:25 a.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller did not comply, forcing the suspect to flee empty handed.

The suspect is further described as being 6’1” in height and bald headed. He was last seen wearing a long sleeved beige shirt, white pants and black shoes.
