VIDEO: Suspect sought in connection to murder in Owl’s Head Park

Cops are asking the public for assistance in identifying an individual they say may be connected to the murder of 35-year-old Bay Ridge resident Jennifer Cohen.

Cohen — a resident of 8414 Fourth Avenue — was found dead with head and face trauma at around 9:30 a.m. on the eastern side of Owl’s Head Park, inside the fencing of the skate park.

According to police, Cohen was captured on surveillance camera footage walking near Owl’s Head Park at around 2:45 a.m. with an unidentified man.

The man is said to be 5’8″ in height and weigh approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a white trim, black shorts with white trim, dark colored sneakers and a dark colored baseball cap. He was also wearing a black backpack.
