Police still seeking suspect involved in murder of Bay Ridge woman


Police are still seeking the suspect wanted in connection to the murder of 35-year-old Bay Ridge resident Jennifer Cohen.

On Thursday, September 29, 2016 at around 9:30 a.m., Cohen was found dead with head and face trauma on the eastern side of Owl’s Head Park, inside the fencing of the skate park.

According to police, Cohen, who lived in 8414 Fourth Avenue, was captured on surveillance camera footage walking near Owl’s Head Park at around 2:45 a.m. with an unidentified man.

Footage later surfaced in which the suspect is seen walking alone.

The man is said to be 5’8″ in height and weigh approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a white trim, black shorts with white trim, dark colored sneakers and a dark colored baseball cap. He was also wearing a black backpack.
